Therapy & Suppprt

Suppporting individuals and families to make sense of what is happeining,

build capacity, and move forward with confidence

Therapy & support at Discover & Thrive provides practical, evidence-informed support for individuals and families navigating change, overwhelm, and uncertainty. Each session is person-centred and tailored to the individual or family, and designed to meet people where they are, creating a space that is calm, focused, and responsive to what is needed.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, this work supports people to make sense of their experiences, recognise patterns, and build capacity in ways that are sustainable over time. Grounded in therapeutic practice, nervous system awareness, and creative approaches including art therapy, sessions support clearer thinking, emotional regulation, and meaningful progress.

Therapy is not a one size fits all. You bring your own lived experience, shaped by the many moments and challenges life presents. My role is to support you with practical tools, insight, and guidance, so you can continue to grow with clarity and confidence.

Individuals - Personal

Supporting individuals to recognise and understand what is happening, navigate life transitions, and build confidence to recognise patterns in how they think, feel, and respond.

Sessions are tailored to the individual and may draw on cognitive, behavioural, and creative approaches to explore patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and support more sustainable ways of moving forward. This work is particularly helpful during periods of stress, burnout, identity change, or when life no longer feels aligned.

Children & Families

Supporting children, young people, and families to better understand emotions, strengthen connection, and navigate challenges together.

Sessions are tailored to the needs of the child and family, creating a safe and flexible space to explore feelings, build emotional regulation, and support communication.

Using developmentally appropriate techniques such as role play, art therapy, the pretend technique all within a safe open space, this work helps children express what can be difficult to put into words, while supporting parents and carers to respond with greater confidence and clarity.

Parents and carers are also supported with practical tools that can be used as situations arise, helping to guide emotional regulation early, and reduce the likelihood of situations becoming overwhelming or escalating.
